Gifted Women's

Live Online Summit

Friday, September 25th through Sunday, September 27th.

Navigating a Global Dark Night of the Soul

This summit is dedicated to all the gifted women who have been misunderstood and forced into narrow neurobiological cages in order to survive or be loved. We see you. We know the pain, the loneliness. We know what it’s like to be slandered or outcast. And we know that your heart is full of compassion: That you see the pain the world is in, that you are aching at the seems to be able to fully get in the game, use your voice without numbing or dumbing it down, and make much needed changes in our world.

This weekend is a reboot of what it means to be a neurodiverse feminine leader who’s found her genius through hard passages. We, as a group, need your quirks, your emotional range, your passion, your stories of strife, your ideas, your brilliance and your leadership now more than ever. We need YOU to courageously revolutionize our society into a sustainable, humane and even joyful culture to thrive in.

Misdiagnosis and gaslighting of genius women is still all too common.

We are here this weekend to end the blacklisting and misunderstandings. We are here this weekend to instead share deep collective psychological wisdom and inspiration and therefore change the status quo of what it means to be a genius feminine leader.

Our current world culture is made up of zero-sum-game mentalities, domination models and “me first” value systems. If we don’t change things fast, we will lose the planet, through crisis after crisis. Where will our children get to smell fresh forest air and swim in the clean oceans? Where will they thrive? The only way through is to create bold leaders who embody and teach cutting-edge cultural norms in the world’s organizations. And I believe these norms will come from neurodiverse leaders who have been through the fire and are not afraid of their shadow; most especially gifted women bursting at the seems to get in the game.

A society that celebrates and welcomes neurodiversity is a society where people of all races, generations and genders can co-create a better world: One that is driven by empathy, interdependence, and ultimately a savoring of the beauty of the human experience... where relationships and productivity, quality of life and sustainability all go hand-in-hand.

Living in our truth means doing the internal work to come into alignment with ourselves so deeply that we don’t feel triggered when others don’t agree with us... and we speak anyway. Being a leader means that we have learned to show up in so much soul and agency that others listen and real change is created, not just talked about.

Sharing our stories, our personal mythologies, is how we normalize the dark night of the soul processes that our world and our individuals so desperately need in order to create something new. A dark night of the soul, otherwise known as “positive disintegration” or “existential crisis” is standard operating procedure for gifted individuals in order to create and show up with our talent, but is usually considered a “problem” by western medicine. The real problem is that no one is allowed or supported to go through these much needed developmental stages. Positive disintegration happens when a person has the capability of multilevelness: the ability to see two or more things at once: where the world is broken and where the world needs to be, for instance. Your psyche cracks during a dark night. A part of your ego dies. It is heartbreaking. It is painful. It is terrifying. It is overwhelming. we aren’t meant to do it alone. Telling people that there is something wrong with them is the worst thing we can do: no one will ever grow that way. Instead we need to normalize it. And who better to do it than gifted women leaders?

We are not here to tell anyone that they are or are not gifted: That is not the point of this summit. We have no desire to be “better than” anyone. We know that everyone has gifts. And our gifts always are accompanied by quirks and wounds. However, the bigger the gifts, the bigger the quirks, the bigger the internal angst, the more we are misunderstood and the harder it is to feel that being gifted is a gift. This is especially true for women because gifted theory itself is based on a masculine neurobiological system and perhaps has itself limited genius in the areas of intuition and interpersonal intelligence.

How are we to know what is dysfunctional and what is genius if out-of-the box female leaders aren’t able to show up in our very narrow cultural world without being crucified? Especially in business and government: we live in capitalism which means we have to transform business culture first before other cultures. (~Real Beauty Begins Where Perfection Ends)

We can be gifted in many different ways: Intellectual, Imaginary, Emotional, Psycho-motor, Somatic/Sensual, and last but not least: Interpersonal. The last category is not documented in gifted theory, but as the owner of the The Interpersonal Institute where the entire goal is the spread the wisdom of interpersonal intelligence, Erin knows that gifted women are particularly prone to being genius in this area. Because it is THE intelligence most needed to save our planet, we believe in boosting women who can spread the seeds of the interdependence (collaboration) revolution.

This weekend you will get to immerse in the stories, the blood, sweat, tears, the ecstasy and the agony that our interviewees have been through in their own “Dark Nights” in order to be here today with new vision. We will also be sharing new ideas, insights and networks.

Join us Friday, September 25th through Sunday, September 27th.

I'm Erin

Discover the power that comes through self-agency, savoring human-ness in all its mess, and allowing relationships to be my greatest teachers. This tantric framework allows all the so-called imperfections of life to be expressed as the ground of my greatest strengths, rather than things that need to be swept under the rug of personal development. Tantra, after-all, embraces love of life, without exception.

I’ve survived death and loss, the challenges of parenting, divorce and profound uncertainty, and through it discovered the power that comes in accepting life in all its’ flavors and messes. Tantra, after all, embraces love of life, without exception. It’s deeply on the ground and in the world, not in some transcendent world of bliss and light. Work with me allows your so-called imperfections to be the very ground of your greatest strengths, rather than things that need to be swept under the rug of your personal development.

I help you claim the right to be ecstatically alive, in all the places you touch the world. I offer this gift and wisdom to you not as a guru, but as a guide.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

I don’t know if I’m gifted, can I come anyway?

YES! If you’re here you are gifted. There are many ways to be gifted. If you are a curiosity addict, sensitive, imaginative, artistic, intuitive, intelligent or are somatically in tune in anyway, and also struggle with feeling misunderstood and being forced to process linearly like others, you will fit in nicely here. We also welcome women in the middle of their own Dark Night of the Soul, otherwise known as “positive disintegration”, a common gifted trait, of course. If you want to know what type of gifted you are, take the quiz here:

Am I going to be a captive audience to sales?

No!... We want this summit to empower, educate and inspire and network. We believe in abundance. The more we interact, the more we all receive. (However, each presenter will send out their business information after the summit for your ease of access. There is also a board for you to post what you do, too.)

Is the summit only available to women?

No! We welcome everyone who supports the equity of opportunity for everyone.

Will you be having another one this year?

This is our first-ever conference and we are excited to see the response. You can sign up for our newsletter here to be the first to receive updates.

I’m not a business owner, is this still for me?

Of course! As long as you believe in the power of powerful women sharing stories and networking, this summit will nourish your soul.

What if I miss some of the free interviews?

The summit recordings will be for sale after the last day and includes curriculum offerings from each presenter.
